Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: What Toothpaste is best for me?

A: Any Flouridated Toothpaste with Minimum Flouride content of 1000 PPM is best for cavity protection in general. However avoid Gel Based toothpaste, as it contains abrasives that may slowly cause enamel loss.

Q: Can I use the Sensitive Toothpastes as advertised on TV?

A: No, Please do not use any so called "Sensitive Toothpaste" on your own. Consult your Dentist before using them. These toothpastes may numb the nerve tubules present on the tooth, thus you may not discover the growing cavities in time and eventually you may worsen the tooth condition. If your teeth are sensitive, visit a Dentist so that early lesions of Decay, Fracture or Gum Problems can be diagnosed and treated on time.

Remember: A Stitch on time saves Nine!

Q: Is it Important to Brush in the Night?

A: Brushing in the night before sleeping is a Must. After your Dinner, Bacteria present in the mouth gets 10-12 hours of time to act on the residual food in your mouth and produce acids that eventually cause cavities.

Q: How Often should I change my toothbrush?

A: A normal soft bristled toothbrush should be changed every 3 months i.e approximately after 180 Tooth brushings.

Q: How Frequently I should visit a Dentist?

A: Normally you should see a Dentist every Six months so that dental problems are detected and treated at an early stage.
